Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions using Power BI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Connect to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.) and perform data modeling using Power BI.
• Write complex DAX expressions for calculated columns and measures.
• Optimize Power BI data sets, queries, and dashboards for performance.
• Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Maintain and support Power BI solutions, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all reports and dashboards.
• Create documentation including data dictionaries, user guides, and technical specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in Power BI and the broader Microsoft BI stack.
• Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in developing BI solutions using Power BI.
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.
• Strong understanding of data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema) and ETL processes.
• Experience with Power BI Service: publishing, workspace management, data refresh, and sharing.
• Familiarity with source control tools and CI/CD pipelines for BI deployment (e.g., Azure DevOps) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
